The Duke of Edinburgh is a charitable organisation that supports young people in developing essential life skills through challenging outdoor expeditions and personal development programmes. Each year, the organisation produces an annual report to highlight their achievements, financial performance, and impact on the community. The Mark was tasked with designing and producing the Duke of Edinburgh's annual report.
Our main objective was to create an engaging and informative annual report that effectively communicates the organisation's key achievements and impact on young people's lives. We aimed to showcase the Duke of Edinburgh's commitment to providing young people with life-changing experiences and opportunities to develop essential skills such as leadership, resilience, and teamwork. Additionally, we aimed to design a report that reflected the Duke of Edinburgh's brand identity and values, while also ensuring it was accessible to a diverse audience.
Our team worked closely with the Duke of Edinburgh's communications team to understand their requirements and gather relevant data and information for the report. We researched the organisation's impact and achievements, financial performance, and key stakeholders, including programme participants and donors. Based on our findings, we developed a content strategy and designed an outline for the report that would effectively communicate the organisation's achievements and impact. The Duke of Edinburgh's annual report was a success, achieving its objectives of communicating the organisation's key achievements and impact while reflecting their brand identity and values. The report received positive feedback from stakeholders, with many commenting on the report's engaging design and informative content.
