The Mediterranean Food Co., a well-established gourmet food and beverage business in Christchurch, sought to enhance its brand visibility and engagement through creative design and campaigns. As their design partner, The Mark collaborated with them to develop compelling and memorable design materials for local events, shop openings, menus, and merchandise.
Collaborating closely with their established brand identity, our objective was to infuse the essence of Italy, capturing the vibrance of these Mediterranean cultures. To achieve this, we embarked on a creative journey incorporating flat illustrations depicting quintessential Mediterranean food and drink elements, along with vibrant colours. These carefully selected visuals acted as a bridge, seamlessly connecting the brand with the rich heritage of Italy and Spain. Our design approach was meticulously curated, ensuring that each illustration resonated with the distinct flavours, aromas, and textures of Mediterranean cuisine. By capturing the essence of olives, tomatoes, grapes, pastas, and more, we crafted an artistic tapestry that celebrates the culinary delights that Italy offers. These compelling flat illustrations and colours served as the heart of our design strategy, acting as a visual thread that was woven across a spectrum of brand materials. From event posters and banners to menu designs and t-shirts, each piece of collateral became an opportunity to transport the audience to the vibrant streets of a Mediterranean marketplace.
Through the strategic collaboration between The Mark and The Mediterranean Food Co., a series of successful design campaigns were executed, contributing to increased event attendance, enhanced brand presence, and improved customer engagement.
